As a kid I loved anything and everything to do with ice cream. I could eat a whole tub by myself in one sitting, and whenever given the option I would always order a milkshake when we went out for lunch.
I find milkshakes to be one of those special joys in life. They’re creamy, cooling and indulgent while you can still feel kind of healthy, since you’re not really “eating” dessert. Well, this milkshake is definitely on the healthier side, and tastes so creamy and decadent it’s quickly become one of my favourites.
I simply used my Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Cookie from the blog, but you can use any egg-free cookie dough you want – though I definitely recommend my one.
Drain and rinse the nuts and add all the ingredients and half the frozen peanut butter cookie dough into a blender and blend until smooth. Add remaining cookie dough and pulse one or two times, just to get it mixed in.
Drizzle the melted chocolate around a glass, pour in the smoothie, and enjoy!
Notes
For the peanut butter cookie dough, you can either freeze the dough after baked or raw. I recommend freezing it so it holds well together.
