My mother was in London after 30 years (!!) so after taking her to Broadway market and walks in the park, afternoon tea was in order.
There is no one better to bring, as she probably loves food as much as I do – though now-a-days she is the pickier eater when it comes to salads and veggies. Ha! She did eat and love everything though, and as Tibits is fully vegan in their afternoon tea there were plenty of delicious veggies to choose from.
Tibits was not your usual afternoon tea where someone brings a cute tray filled with miniature cute sandwiches and cakes to your table. It’s a self service, which was quite different than the usual but fun none the less – and the food was oh so delicious!
I loved every single savoury dish I had, and on the sweets department the plump super sweet strawberries and berry crumble stole my heart. The scone was too much on the dry and dense side, but I still ate all of it so can’t really complain!
If you do decide to go, grab a table outside on their lovely courtyard and people watch, there is nothing better.
