As soon as I heard that Sadhana Kitchen in Newtown hosted a raw + vegan high tea I knew I had to go – and my birthday provided the best occasion!
Living in London for 6 years before moving to Sydney, my love for a tea and assorted beautiful treats runs deep. How could you not love getting a gorgeous tower of delicious sweets and savouries? It’s just not done.
You have to start with dessert ok?
On the top tier we had some delicious caramel slices and raspberry tarts. So so good! On the middle tier we continue with the sweets (oooh yeaaa) and had some carrot cake, scones with chia jam, banoffee pie, and more! The banoffee pie and scones were my favourites!
To balance out the sweets, the bottom tier had some absolutely yummy mini mushroom & pepper (capsicum) quiches, cucumber & cashew cream sandwiches, eggplant (aubergine) pastrami rolls, and coconut bacon pizzettes. All so delicious, but my favourites were the quiche and pizzette!
Everything was refined sugar free, gluten free, and delicious!
I can’t recommend it enough! You know how sometimes you want to order ALL the desserts but find yourself having to settle for one (or two)? With this, I got to try ALL the desserts I wanted, and it was socially accepted!
They have 3 sittings per day – at 9am, 10am, and 11am!
