‘Inner Glow’ Bliss Balls

Bliss balls are everywhere now.

You can buy it at your local health food shop, grocers, coffee shop, they even have ones in packets. While some of them are ok, many can actually be full of nasties (especially the packaged kind), so I usually much rather making them myself. That way, it’s not only cheaper, but I know exactly what goes in it and it gives me complete creative freedom as to what I want it to taste like!

Ok, so maybe I’m a little control freak when it comes to my food, but I need it to be delicious AND nutritious! Just bear with me, ok?

Inner Glow Protein Bliss Balls

These bliss balls have a beautiful yellow golden colour, and they’re perfectly crunchy from the basil nuts, and beautifully sticky and sweet from the figs and dates.

They’re also absolutely loaded with goodness to make you glow from the inside out, with things like turmeric, bee pollen, coconut oil, lemon, and flax seeds turning this into a snack that your body will also love.

That way, you satisfy your body, mind, and soul! Too much? Maybe a little bit, but I love these and I think you will too!

Inner Glow Protein Bliss Balls

I’m kind of divided on snacking. I do sometimes need it to get through the day, but I do feel that for me, personally, it’s best to give my digestion a break in between meals. I rather have 3 satisfying meals a day, and I find that is what works best for me – most of the time.

Sometimes though, I do hit that 4pm slump, and I when I need something to pick me back up bliss balls are definitely one of my favourite things – they taste like a treat, and oooh do I love treats!
