When Holland and Barrett got in touch about creating a recipe using the Manuka Honey range, this no bake crumble immediately popped into my head.
This is the kind of breakfast that not only brings happiness to the start of your day, but also means you’re getting an amazing dose of fibre from the oats, good fats from the nuts, vitamins from the raw fruit, and amazing anti-bacterial properties from the manuka honey. Basically means you’re starting your day with a bang.
I know it’s not the typical crumble or crisp everyone is used to, I’m not delusional, but considering the weather is finally starting to warm up in London it was time we started to embrace more summer-y vibes around here!
This a lighter version of a crumble, as it has no butter and no refined sugar, but that in no means makes it any less delightful.
Just the crumble topping layer on it’s own is already a thing of dreams. We’ve got delicious manuka honey, creamy banana, almond butter, cashews, pistachios and brazil nuts. It’s sweet, sticky and gooey. The kind that makes you lick your fingers and scrape the whole bowl after you’ve made it. I’ve used it here for the crumble, but I’ll definitely be making more to add to porridges, smoothie bowls and yoghurts.
I’m a big fan of raw honey. Whenever I was a child my mom would give me a tablespoon of honey every other day to keep my immune system strong, and mothers always know best! I got my Manuka Honey from Holland and Barrett, find it here.
