Spiced Crispy & Curly Sweet Potato Fries

  • 1 large sweet potato
  • 1-2 tablespoons oil of choice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon sweet paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of cayenne
  1. Preheat oven to 200ºC | 400ºF.
  2. Spiralise your sweet potatoes on the large grater (or buy it pre-spiralised) and cut the strands that are a bit too long into more bite-sized pieces.
  3. Toss with oil and spices and spread evenly on a baking sheet. If it's too crowded, use 2 sheets.
  4. Bake in a for 20 minutes, toss, and bake for another 10-15. Keep an eye on it so it doesn't burn.
  5. Enjoy it with dips and condiments. I love some mayo, but ketchup seems to be a high contender as well
