½ cup | 50g protein powder of choice (I used vanilla)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon yogurt
Pinch of salt
Sliced banana, to decorate (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 175ºC | 350ºF and roast your slivered almonds for 10 minutes, tossing once halfway through.
Peel your bananas and place in a mixing bowl. Mash with a fork or masher until creamy - some lumps are ok. Mix in the almond butter, egg and vanilla until combined.
Stir in the remaining ingredients and mix until combined.
Remove the tin from the oven, stir the roasted almonds into the batter, and line or lightly grease a brownie tin. Pour the mixture into the tin and decorate with the banana slices, if using.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the golden around the edges and a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
Let cool, cut into slices, and enjoy!
