Quick and easy homemade cereal to keep in the fridge for those rushed early mornings. All it requires is tossing some ingredients together and topping with milk when you're ready to enjoy. All too easy!
Ingredients
  • 1 cup / 90g quinoa flakes
  • 1 cup / 90g buckinis*
  • 3 tablespoons black sesame seeds
  • Around 1 cup chopped dried figs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup / 20g pistachios
Instructions
  1. Simply toss all the ingredients together and store in an airtight container in the fridge until ready to serve.
  2. To eat, simply add to a bowl, pour your favourite nutmilk, and enjoy!
Notes
*buckinis are simply activated and crunchy buckwheat groats. you can either buy already done buckinis, or make it at home by soaking your raw buckwheat groats overnight, draining and rinsing in the morning, and placing in your dehydrator or the lowest setting of your oven for 12-24 hours, until they’re dry and crunchy.

FLAKES - you can use oat flakes instead of quinoa, or even buckwheat or amaranth if you can find them!
